The beginning of Stateside...

Stateside Elementary School is located on the boundaries of the Jacksonville and Richlands school districts. The land where the school is located was donated by the Weyerhaeuser Corporation and the school named, Stateside, for a residential community currently being developed. The land owned by Weyerhaeuser extends sixteen miles toward Highway 17. Stateside Elementary was built to serve students enrolled in Kindergarten through fifth grade. The dedication ceremony for Stateside Elementary was held on August 24, 2009. The United States flag was raised for the first time by Northside High School's Jr. ROTC and Richlands Webelos pack 215.
